Singer for events
I am Raúl Aguado, better known as AR-Latin, a singer for events, percussionist, and composer.
I have over 30 years of experience providing live music for weddings, parties and events, with a versatile Latin repertoire,
adapted versions and a carefully crafted stage show that transforms each performance into an experience.
2023 Latin Grammy® Nomination
In 2023, I had the honour of being nominated for a Latin Grammy® in the Best Salsa Album category,
as vocalist on the album Tierra y Libertad, alongside the Plena 79 orchestra.
This recognition marked a turning point in my career as an event singer and
summarises part of the journey I have been on for more than three decades.
Highlights
Over the years, I have experienced events and collaborations that have shaped my path. One of them was my meeting with Juan Luis Guerra, where I was able to share my story with him and thank him for the influence his music has had on my entire career.
Another, more recent collaboration was with Silvio Rodríguez, one of the most iconic figures in Latin American music and a fundamental pillar of the Nueva Trova Cubana movement. Together we recorded a version of the song "Hoy no quiero estar lejos de la casa y el árbol" (Today I don't want to be far from home and the tree).
Music Group for Events and Parties
Every event has its own rhythm, and my musical offering adapts to accompany it with precision.
As a singer for events, I offer everything from acoustic duos or trios—ideal for cocktail parties, receptions, and relaxed settings—to full bands, perfect for parties, festivals, or weddings with lively dance floors.
AR-Latin offers a flexible and professional sound experience, with repertoires ranging from bolero and Latin jazz to salsa, Cuban son and tropical pop. Whatever the format, the goal is always the same: to make the music feel, dance and be remembered.
